Library Cards

Overview:

A free Yavapai Library Network card is available to all Yavapai and Coconino County residents with a photo i.d. and proof of residency. A parent or guardian signature is required for applicants under the age of 18.   

Adult applicants for a Sedona Public Library card must provide identification and verify local residency by showing one of the following:

  • Driver’s License
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Check Book or Bank Statement
  • Voter Registration
  • Utility Statement
  • Post Office Box Receipt with Name
  • DES Identification Card
  • ADOT Identification Card
  • Matricula Consular Card
  • Mexican Voter Registration Card
  • Valid U.S. Passport

Patrons are responsible for any and all items checked out on their cards.

Should a library card be stolen or lost, call the library to report it immediately.

Card replacement is $5.00.

Your library card is valid as long as it is used at least once a year.

Some libraries in the Yavapai Library Network allow you to apply for a card online.

Audio Tapes        21 days        three weeks
Books   21 days   three weeks
CDs   21 days   three weeks
DVDs   7 days   one week
Video Tapes   21 days   three weeks
Interlibrary Loans   varies    

Overdue Fines for Sedona Public Library:

Books and other materials: 15 cents a day
Items borrowed from other libraries may have higher fines
